Before you call, you’re probably wondering…
How much does tree removal cost in Boise?
It depends on height, species, lean, and what’s underneath it — a 30-foot elm in an open backyard and a 70-foot cottonwood over a garage are very different jobs. That’s why the estimate is free and in writing. Send a photo and we can usually give you a ballpark before we ever drive out.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry liability coverage and workers’ compensation, and we’re happy to send a certificate of insurance before we start. Always ask any tree company for this — if a crew gets hurt on an uninsured job, that can land on the homeowner.
Do you handle emergencies after hours?
We do. Storm work is a big part of what we do in the valley, and we keep a crew reachable 24/7 for downed trees, split leaders and limbs on structures. Call or text (208) 398-3217.
Do you clean everything up?
Yes, and it’s included unless you tell us otherwise. Debris is chipped and hauled, the ground gets raked, and we walk it with you before we leave. If you want the rounds kept for firewood or the chips left for mulch, just say so.
When is the best time to prune trees in Idaho?
For most deciduous trees in the Treasure Valley, late winter through early spring — while the tree is dormant — gives the cleanest healing and the best structure. Dead, broken or hazardous limbs are the exception: those come out whenever we find them. Some species and disease pressures change the answer, which is what the arborist assessment is for.

Regularly. Property managers, HOAs, and commercial sites across Ada County — including scheduled maintenance cycles, hazard inspections and after-hours work so we’re not in the way of your tenants.
