A stump isn’t just ugly — it’s a trip hazard, a mower killer, a termite and fungus host, and a permanent hole in your landscaping plan. We take it out properly.
Grinding flush with the lawn looks finished for about one season — then the crown settles, the grass dies over it, and you have a dip full of decaying wood. We grind well below grade and take out the flaring surface roots along with it, so the area behaves like normal soil again.

A cutting wheel chews the stump and major roots into mulch. Fast, far less disruptive to the surrounding lawn and irrigation, and much cheaper. Leaves smaller roots to decay naturally underground, which is fine for lawn, beds and most landscaping.
Digging the entire root plate out with equipment. Needed when you’re pouring a foundation, running a line through that spot, or dealing with certain root diseases. It’s a bigger, messier, more expensive job — and we’ll say so honestly if you don’t need it.
